Join us for an unforgettable advanced training in hand therapy while sailing through the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska and Canada. This 7-night continuing education cruise aboard a luxury vessel departs from Seattle, WA on July 25, 2026, and journeys through the stunning ports of Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, Alaska and Victoria, Canada, as well as a scenic cruise through Glacier Bay National Park.
Designed for therapists who have completed Alison Taylor’s foundational Treating Without Pain® course, this advanced class dives deeper into highly effective, gentle techniques to improve outcomes for clients with hand pain. Participants will gain hands-on experience using specialized tools, taping methods, and manual techniques to release restrictions, decrease hypersensitivity, and support optimal tissue healing—without provoking pain.

This class will be an Advanced level class discussing and demonstrating the concepts developed by Alison Taylor for treating the upper extremity without pain. The course will draw on fundamental taping concepts in addition to Dermo Neuro Modulation concepts, Tuning fork- focal vibration treatment, and IASTM using mini scraping tools. Research, with a focus on the cutaneous nervous system, specifically skin- epidermis and dermal layers to support the elimination of pain in the limb during treatment, will be presented. It is expected that participants be familiar with taping techniques, as well as have attended a live or online class hosted by Alison Taylor, so they are prepared for the class. This class will be fast paced and deliver new, advanced concepts in Hand Therapy. This class will offer 12 CEUs of live class work.
